UP CM Launched Namami Gange Jagriti Yatra
Chief minister of Utter Pradesh has Launched an awareness campaign along banks of Ganga River to Maintain cleanliness, ‘Namami Gange Jagriti Yatra’ from the capital Lucknow.The yatra is Organised by Utter Pradesh Homeguard volunteers for maintaining the cleanliness and ever-flowing nature of the river in 25 districts located on the banks of holy river Ganga.

Sri Lankan Navy commissions India-Built AOPV
An Indian-built AOPV (Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel) has been commissioned by the Sri Lankan Navy. The AOPV is constructed by Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) in India. It is the first ever AOPV purchased from foreign and made upgrade according to specific requirement of the Sri Lankan Navy.

Axis bank Reduced Savings Accounts Intrest Rate by 50 bps
Contry’s leading private sector Bank, Axis Bank cuts intrest rate on savings accounts by 50 basis points to 3.5% for saving deosits upto Rs 50 lacs. Althoush, the bank has not changed intrest rate on deposits of above Rs 50 lacs and intrest rate will remain 4%.
Syndicate bank Diminsh MCLR by 5-10 bps
Syndicate bank has reduced its marginal cost of funds lending rate (MCLR) by 5-10 basis points in some maturity buckets. McLR for Six month is 8.3% (now 8.35%) and for one year is 8.5% (now 5.60 %) will come in action after August 10.
