Bangladesh and India Signed the USD 4.5 Billion Loan Deal
on 4th of October 2017, Bangladesh signed the deal of USD 4.5 Billion with the agreement over Line Of credit with India.
The deal was signed for social sector development and infrastructure in the presence of India’s Finance Minister Jaitley and from Bangladesh AMA Muhith.
The development will be done in the areas like Electricity, Roads, Shipping, Etc. The loan will be debt in interest rate of 1% Per year for the time period of 20 years with a 5 years of gracce period
There are two more LoC between India and Bangladesh which were signed in 2010 and 2016
SBI Got New Chairman Rajnish Kumar
The managing director of State Bank Of India (SBI), Rajnish Kumar, is appointed as the next chairman of State Bank Of India.
Rajnish Kumar will be following after the Arundhati Bhattacharya, who is the current chairman of SBI.
Kumar will be serving for 3 years from 7th of October as permitted by the committee of cabinet appointment committee. The Department of personnel and training (DoPT) has issued the order.
WHO New Deputy Director-General Soumya Swamithan
In Geneva, The Director general of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Soumya Swamithan, was appointed as Deputy Director-General, of World Health Organization (WHO).
Soumya Swamithan will be leading the second highest position at UN health agency, which is by far the highest position reached by any Indian.
Along with Swamithan, Jane Ellision is appointed as Deputy Director-General of Corporate Operations.

IEA :India’s Renewable Energy capacity Boosted by 2022
The renewable energy is to be double by 2022, As per the latest latest Renewables market analysis and report by the international Energy Agency (IEA).
Current capacity of India Renewable Energy is 58.30 GW. Which government target to raise to 175 GW by 2022 including 60 GW of wind energy and 100 GW of Solar.
