Patanjali’s CEO Balkrishna get positioned among Top 10 Richest Indians in Hurun Rich List 2017
Hurun Rich List : It Seems that Patanjali cannot be out of news as of now the CEO of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna is making the news again. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Acharya Balkrishna has got an position in the list of Top 10 Richest Indians and is been positioned eight on the Hurun India Rich list 2017.
The Other names which have featured in Hurun Rich List are like Radhakishan Damani of D-Mart where Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, has been topped again for sixth time in a row and also made it to the top 15 of Hurun Global Rich List.
“Balkrishna, CEO of Patanjali and childhood friend of Ramdev, is now among the top 10 rich people in the country. Damani, the new retail king, of D-Mart is the biggest gainer with wealth increase of 320 per cent. The blockbuster listing of Avenue Supermarts, also added eight new entries in the rich list,” Hurun said in a report.
Balkrishna who was at 25th position in last year had now jump to 8th position seeing his growth of 173 Percent he raised up to Rs. 70,000 Crore. Balakrishna led Patanjali has given tough competition out there with a turnover of Rs. 10,651 Crore in FY17 and CEO was also named among Top 100 richest Indian from Forbes.
The Ambani seems to have taken massive leap in terms of wealth as growing with 58 Percent that is Rs. 2.57 Trillion for this year and Seems there is no one can cross him for coming years as he takes the list by top position.
From Hurun report the biggest gainer came out to be Damani, the 62 year old Chairman of Avenue markets has taken an leap by 321 Percent other than the Endurance Tech’s Anurang Jain and family gained 286 Percent raise. The reports were produced at the time when rate of dollar was 64.1 on 31st July, 2017.
Other stats were like, Mumbai tops the rich list by the 182 richest people followed by the new Delhi 117 and Bengaluru 51. Chennai and Kanpur also gained position among top 10 cities for the fist time with taking 15 & 8, respectively.
