IBPS CWE PO/MT Exam 2018
The Institute of Banking personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts various banking exams for the Public Sector Banks, SBI and other banking bodies. IBPS conducts common written examination every year for the post of Probationary Officer for Public Sector Banks.
IBPS released its official notification for the Probationary Officer examination, IBPS CWE PO/MT VII, 2018. IBPS PO exam is conduced in three levels – Prelim (pre) and mains followed by Personal Interview. IBPS CWE PO prelim exam is of qualifying nature. Aspirants qualified in prelim examination are eligible for mains exam. Aspirants who clear the mains cut-off will be called for an Personal Interview by IBPS. To clear an IBPS examination you have to maintain your Speed, Accuracy and Confidence. And detailed knowledge of current affairs and banking topics.
IBPS PO 2018 Notification
IBPS released its official notification for the post of Probationary Officer/Management Traniee on 14th August 2018. The Public Sector banks will recruit through this examination and the selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
Intested candidates are required to register online for the recruitment of IBPS PO 2018 on official webseite. IBPS CWE-VII PO Pre-Exam 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 7th, 8th, 14th & 15th October while the IBPS PO Main Examination will be held on 26th November 2018.
Online examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Mains. Candidates qualified inn Prelim examination will have to appear in Main Examination. And candidates shortlisted in the main examination will be called for a Common Interview.

IBPS PO 2018 Vacancy
IBPS mentioned the number of post for the probationary officers recruited through IBPS CWE PO VII examination. IBPS has introduced 3562 vacancies this year. These are not the firm number of vacancy, it may likely to increase as 4 banks have not yet mentioned their vacancy.
IBPS PO 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification :
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Also, the candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:
1. Citizen of India
2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India
Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.
Age Limits: Minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years.
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1997 (both dates inclusive).
IBPS PO 2018 Online Application
IBPS will soon release the application forms on its official website. All the process are completely online. To fill the application form without any technical error candidates are advised to use one of the given browsers –

IBPS PO 2018 Exam Pattern
The whole exam is completed in three phases. Online examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Mains. Candidates qualified inn Prelim examination will have to appear in Main Examination. And candidates shortlisted in the main examination will be called for a Common Interview.
IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern
IBPS PO prelim exam consists 100 question from three sections i.e. Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English. 1 hour (60 minutes) is assigned to complete the exam, there were 100 multiple choice questions. According to previous year papers, the prelim exam is easy and candidates require speed and accuracy to clear the cut-off. Scheme of exam :

There is 1 marks assigned for each right question and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt. There is no time specified for different section, students themselves have to maintain time accordingly. Prelim exam is just qualifying nature.
IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern (IBPS PO New Exam Pattern)
Candidates qualified in Prelim examination are eligible to appear in mains examination. Mains exam contain total of 155 multiple choice question from 4 sections (i.e. Reasoning & Computer, General Economy & Banking Awareness Data Analysis & Interpretation).
IBPS introduced a descriptive paper from this year.There will be 2 Question in descriptive paper, time assigned for descriptive is 25 mins and maximum marks are 30. Hence the total duration of IBPS PO Main exam will be 3 hour 30 mins and maximum marks will be 230 (200+30). Scheme of mains exam is given below :

The score of mains exams will be considered for shortlisting for final merit list. There will be negative marking in mains exam.
IBPS PO Interview, 2018
Candidates shortlisted in the Main examination for CWE PO/MT-VII will subsequently be called
for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interview carries a maximum of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
Questions asked in Interview are generally from banking sector, current affairs & general awareness. There may be questions from your personal interest, hobbies etc.
The Final selection is based on the total marks scored in Main exam and Interview. The final scores calculated by IBPS with weight-age of marks given to the main examination and interview in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.

IBPS issued the broad subjects that can be sub divided into topics on the basis of previous year question papers. IBPS Main syllabus is partially different from preliminary examinations.

IBPS PO Main Exam Syllabus 2018 (New Pattern)
After qualifying the prelim examination, Main exam is most important phase in IBPS PO examination as 80% weightage is givent to Main examination in final selection. The Mains Examination of IBPS PO exam 2018 consists of 4 + 1 sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative, Aptitude & General Awareness.
A descriptive paper is introduced by IBPs from this season. The syllabus and pattern of Descriptive Paper is same as SBI PO examination.
Numerical Ability :
Students are advised to practice given topics in order to score good marks in this section :

Reasoning & Computer Aptitude:
Syllabus of reasoning section is same as pre examination. Detailed syllabus of Computer Education for IBPS CWE PO examination is given below :
Internet, Memory, Keyboard Shortcuts, Computer Abbreviation, Microsoft Office, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Operating System, Networking and Computer Fundamentals/Terminologies.
In IBPS PO Main examination there will be more focus on reading comprehension and Verbal Ability. So students are advised to focous on given topics:
Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Grammar and Vocabulary.
There will be 2 questions in descriptive section. Generally, in SBI PO’s descriptive paper one question asked is Essay and one question is Application/letter writing. IBPS PO will also follow the same pattern . so students are advised to read the current schemes and government events carefully and practice to write essay and Application/Letter.
IBPS PO 2018 Pre-exam Training
Candidates from SC/ST/Religious Minority Community are asked for free pre-exam training at the time of filling application form. The bank arrange a week’s pre-training for such candidates. Candidates opting for pre-examination training should download their call letter for training by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth from Bank’s website. No hard copy of the call letter will be sent by post.

Admit card and call letter will be available for download on the official website of IBPS. Candidates must visit the official website to know more. No hard copy will be send to candidates. Candidates are informed by mail and message on their registered mobile no. will be sent by IBPS.
Candidates will require Registration no./roll no. and Date of Birth or password to download the admit card pof IBPS CWE Clerk 2018.
Admit cards will available on official website 10 to 15 days prior to examination.
How to Prepare IBPS PO 2018
There will be objective type questions and exams will be held online. Candidates have to clear overall as well as the sectional cutoff. As, you have to qualify in each subject, candidates are advised to focus on each subject. To clear an IBPS examination you have to maintain your Speed, Accuracy and Confidence.
IBPS releases state wise cut-off for IBPS PO examinations. You need to know your state’s previous year cutoffs and set a target accordingly. You will found that cut-off is increasing every year.
For preparing the IBPS PO examination one need to wisely manage their time to cover all the subjects. First diagnose the topics you find easy. Try to find the question related to easy topics first, without wasting much time on the difficult questions. Also practice the easy topics, it will enhance your speed and confidence.
Practice a mock test with time, it will increase your speed. Try to appear in online mock test, you can purchase a daily mock test series from any coaching or buy online. there were various study portals which provide online test series.
Record the marks obtained in daily mock test, and evaluate your progress closely. After online test analyse all the question thoroughly, try to attempt the question from different method. make sure that your progress graph rise continuously, if not so diagnose the problem you are facing.
IBPS PO 2018 Result
IBPS will release the result of each tier after the exam on its official website. Result of IBPS PO pre-exam is tentative to release in October 2018. Result of IBPS Main examination will be declared in month of December. Selected candidates can hope for provisional allotment in month of April next year.
