Kanpur : Priyanka Kumari Urf Rani, 11th student from New Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Express coming to Patna, went missing from Kanpur station on Monday night. She was coming with her brother Amit Saxena. Amit has filed a case in Patna Junction Railway Station.
GRP in-charge Pramod Kumar said that the case has been registered and sent to Kanpur GRP. Here, Amit said that the police is asking him to go to Kanpur and Allahabad and look for her. He said if the police will not help, where he’ll go. In-charge of the station said that the matter is from Kanpur, then the responsibility is made of the police there. Amit and his sister were traveling on the B-5 berth number 10 and 11. Amit is preparing for UPSC in New Delhi. From past three months, his sister was living together.
Amit, a resident of Chhapardiih in Jamui district, told that he was coming home with sister in Durgapuja.
What was the matter ?
Rani went to the bathroom near Kanpur station and did not come back. After a long delay, when Amit went to the bathroom to find his sister, she could not be found there. After this, a complaint was lodged by Amit to officers present in the train. He said that on-board FIR was also registered and the police investigated at Allahabad station, but no one has been able to know till now.
Is it safe to travel in trains ?
No one has the answer to this question. Every year many people lost their lives due to train accidents, but there is no solution for this. Rajdhani Express, which is said one of India’s safest trains. If an incident like this happens in Rajdhani, then is it safe to travel in train ?

There is a possibility that she ran away with her self consent. But there is no proof of this nor her brother agreed to this. But it is important to investigate this case before blaming Indian Railway Security.
